This question is more of a historical question then a practical one. When I say Supercomputer, I'm thinking of a computer such as the Cray's that may have had a 486 or equivalent CPU and supporting 1GB of ram. As far as I can remember a 486 level desktop was never produced that supported 1GB of ram. I'm looking for any remote proof of a 486 level machine with 1GB of ram including a link to a page, flyer, article to back it up.

When I put my Lexar JumpDrive into my computer's USB port, it installs and the file window comes up. When I go to add information to it, it says that it is full.

I check its properties, by right-clicking the drive in My Computer, and it says that 480 of my 512mb storage is taken up. There is nothing "visible" on my JumpDrive in the file window.

What could be the problem and how do I go about fixing it?

I need to setup my computer so that It has 4 monitors on it. At the moment there are 2 monitors hooked up to 1 Nvidia GPU. I only have one AGP slot which is being occupied by the Nvidia card, but I do have PCI slots available. Should I just buy a PCI card to go with my current AGP card and hook the extra 2 monitors up to the new card? Is it that simple?

Also, does it matter which card I get? As long has it has 2 video-outs?

Thanks.

I just bought the hard drive and when I formatted it by running "Computer Management" on my computer, the space after formatting showed only 128gb. I know some space would be loss but surely not that much. I did run a program called "testdisk" before formatting and actually toyed with some of the functions. Maybe it has to do with that? I'm not so sure.

i had a hard time to start my PC. i pushed the start botton, and pc will run for a second then its power cut off. After that system's power is off, i had to disconnect the the power cord from the wall, and do it again. it took me 5-6 times to get the computer start. However, when i disconnet the power from the SATA hard drive, the power would not cut off. So, what is the problem? the hard drive or the power supply?
