My Lexar JumpDrive says that it is full, but I have nothing on it. What is the problem?

When I put my Lexar JumpDrive into my computer's USB port, it installs and the file window comes up. When I go to add information to it, it says that it is full.

I check its properties, by right-clicking the drive in My Computer, and it says that 480 of my 512mb storage is taken up. There is nothing "visible" on my JumpDrive in the file window.

What could be the problem and how do I go about fixing it?

Open the drive in My Computer.

Go to TOOLS > FOLDER OPTIONS > VIEW

Double-click HIDDEN FILES

Select SHOW HIDDEN FILES, also select any others in the window that are hiding files to clear them. Exit to desktop, and go back in to My Computer.

Some drives have software from the factory on them which should not be removed. If you have nothing you want on that drive, you might use a FORMAT program to clear it. Check the manufacturer's website.
