presuming you have a windows bootable CD and the licence number , put the CD in the CD-drive , reboot, go in BIOS and be sure you have the option to boot from CD first enabled, save and exit, the computer will boot, you'll get a message on screen "press any key to boot from CD" and then you will have to delete the partition, create a new one and select then quick format (takes less time ) . All instructions are on screen so don't worry it's intuitive. Before you start doing that save all your important documents on a CD
good luck

Get a bootable CD first of your operating system. Boot your PC from that.
If your operating system is XP/2000 then there wont be any problem as the setup steps are very easy, If u know english it wont be a problem .
If u r using older versions
Boot your PC with the boot CD.
Use this command to format the Drive
format
(eg)format c:\
(Beware all the data in that drive wil be lost
Then start the setup and install.
Everything is simple if you know english.

Put your Windows CD into your Cd drive
Boot the computer from the CD
Should start the Windows set up
Right after you do the F8 to agree, it will ask you if you want to format and partition the hard drive
Tell it to format the hard drive
When done, you can turn off the computer, or allow it to reinstall Windows for you.
