Sir,
I purchased new PCI usb card (4 usb) .I have pentium celeron system with Via mother board (VT82C586B ,S7-SB 9936 CE) .i had two PCI vacant.When i put that card in system,PC doesnt start .I also tried to put that in another slot ,still it is not working i.e PC doesnt start.when i remove it,it starts.
I had a doubt on card quality so i brought it to service centre ,there it is working.Card is ok
Pls guide ,how to install it corectly.Is it because of low RAM.I have only 32MB RAM

It never happened before.I think it start to ask when after i pulled out the flash from USB port without signed out and i think in XP,it didn't need to be.

when I click on the left button the context menu appears
I can't do anything with the Right button.
What can I do to correct it?Key board working perfectly.

To correct it I changed the Mouse property,But now I can't keep it on the old condition.

i have an aopen dvd drive on my pc (not a dvd writer). Anyway i got given a dvd+r disk yesterday and my computer wont even recognise the disk (no disk in d:/)/ iv played the disk on the home dvd player (its a disk with pictures) so i do know that the files are burnt on the disk. Also i played another dvd in the pc drive and it worked so i know that the drive works.(the dvd i played was also a burnt dvd not sure the format)

PIII 850mhz with the O.S windows 98 first detected the HDD c and D drives. but the next day it is detecting the only C drive and disappering the D drive and the cd rom drives E and F i am a novoice and would like to to trouble shoot the detecting the drives

alright this is the thing....i got this laptop rite so it got wireless LAN n so on in it...so i go 2 a store and they recomended this wireless device that picks up signals way better so i bought it rite. its called ZyXEL AG-225H look at it at this link:

every time i'm running a couple of programs, my computer makes a noise like a fan, like every five or ten minutes. i've attempted to clean the fan from the back with a brush and the obvious dust has gone, but it's still making the noise. i can't get to a computer shop today because i have work deadlines to make by tomorrow, but it's annoying the france out of me. is there anything i can do to clean the fan better without getting compressed air? if not i'll have to go get some. is it true that i shouldn't vacuum the back of the computer incase of static buildup?

hi, im on win xp, until recently my freecom +/-DVD RW4b would copy dvd to dvd and burn them with 'Nero'. Now for some strange reason it wont copy them. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled nero 7, no change. I then tried numerous other dvd copy softwares and still no luck. I can burn photos with nero, I havent yet tried to burn music. I darent try and uninstall the driver as I dont have the disk that came with it. Ive checked the dvd properties and it still states the device is working properly. I just want to burn some movies that I have stored on my hard drive. help!! in easy peasy pc language please.

Hi, I m trying to download from my dvd camcorder to my PC. But I realized that I don’t have any firewall port in my dvd camcorder. But it only has one USB port. But I was told from a electronic store guy that I cant downlaod that. But with that USB port I was able to plat it in my computer. Cud anybody help me in downloading this. Just for ur info the disc I m using in my camcaorder is mini disc and I don’t have any other source to play and convert to bigger dvd.

I have a tv card in my pc. I was thinking of connecting my video out of VCR to my antenna in to tv card. Then using tv card's internal recording to record some old family videotapes to then transfer them to DVD using Nero or the likes.

Any forseeable problems with that do you think??

I think it 'SHOULD' work but will wait on ''HONEST'' opinions from you teccies out there.
