I got a new 3dfr4900p dforce video card tht will only work to the load screen but then the screen goes dark and nothing happens I've tried every thing there is no apparent reason it shuldnt work plz help

i have a really old computer,really really old, with a maxium of 18gig. now it's down to 1.3 gig(lol)i cant afford another. have practicaly deleted almost everything. but for some reason i still cant get more memory in hardrive. is there a way to get rid of everything but a few programs left on computer. sometimes, some programs wont let me delete it.

I am looking for the Windows XP Driver for the Cisco VT Advantage Webcam. I have tried everywhere. If someone has one of these and has the driver, please help! the camera is basicly a rebranded Logitec Qquickcam Pro, but the logitec drivers won't work. If anyone can help, please post a reply!

Hi, i need help, im designing something im going to send to yahoo called the 'Yahoo! Instant Messenger Portable' First off i deffinatly dont know wheather or not thry will even let me make it for them so im jsut proposing it. Second, i dont have an advnanced learning of technology

WHAT I DO KNOW IS that i want it to look like an ordinary laptop only a little thinner with a wireless internet access device, i want it to have a normal-ish keyboard with certain restrictions, such as the 'f1-f12' buttons wont exist, instead it would link to different conversations you were having, like 'c1-c12' so you could talk to 12 buddies at a time, on the right side of the screen running up it will be the buddy list, i think that would be best, but you can change it so it could be on the left or even the top or bottom your conversations would square on the screen and youd only be able to see 4 at a time, im running out of space to write details so please help me out, ill put moe details l8r if i can

I made a folder called "Other" where I put a lot of junk videos in. There are about 10 good videos, and the rest are corrupt. The rest of my (external (made from an external kit) hard drive works perfectly, however, when I move any video file to "Other" or move folders full of video into there, they become unplayable.

Windows Media Player give the error message "Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy settings might not be correct."

It's about a 200 gig hard drive (186 gig when formatted). Keep in mind that all of my other files outside of this "Other" folder work. And I cannot move the "corrupted" files out of there.

I temporarily fixed these files a few weeks ago by using the Check Disk tools with automatically fix file system errors and scan for and attempt of recovery of bad sectors. That didn't work this time.

What's up with this hard drive?

i have road runner and my modem works well i just got another modem from the store thinking i could hook it to the same cable and have internet on two computers at the same time i hooked the new one that i got to the computer already working and it says that a connection cannot be made what do i need to do to get a second modem to work on my other computer? i have the toshiba pcx2200.

I have an old etower. when I click the game icon on the start up screen it has four games, three of them will work the fourth will not. When I click on it I get a window that says. This program has performed an illegal operation and will shut down. I have a restore CD that came with the machine, but I don't know what will happen if I put it in. Will it overwrite or delete some files I may not want to lose? Will using the CD fix the problem?

It's disconnected but I physically cannot figure out what's holding it in place. There is a sliding green bar and it slides back and forth but doesn't seem to disengage the drive in either position. The set screw is already removed.
