i dont sit around wasting my time playing computer games all day so no im not using it for gaming but is it a good mother board for surfing the web, making documents and doing work on?

The socket 939 is cutting edge for AMD processors, so you can't go too wrong with this mobo. 4GB max RAM is nice. SATA, RAID . Just remember, this has PCI-e for your video card. A basic 128MB video card should be fine for your application. The price is fair.

I would say yes! I haven't used this exact board before but I've had good luck with other Biostar boards
