you have to disable your old graphics card.
put the old card in first reboot, should load normally, install the drivers for your new card and then disable your current graphics card, reboot, and you should be good to go.

go to control panel, system, hardware, then the device manager to disable your old card.

Have you loaded the drivers for the card? Have you tried the card on another computer? It could be a DOA issue. Take the card back to where you bought it, or get an RMA number from the Internet store that you bought it at. Tell them it was "DOA" and did not work. Try brian's idea too. The old card has to be disabled and the new one enabled.

you ought to ought to connect your video adapter to the video card considering that is the position this is attempting to get a demonstration from. also the white ports are observed as DVI ports. you ought to ought to get a VGA to DVI adapter. does the playing cards fan spin even as the computer is operating? if it does then the cardboard has skill being provided to it. thats a great signal
