See, I'm creating my own game, but by the time I finish it, the total file size will exceed well over 700MB - making the use of a basic CD-R disk impossibe. Is it possible to put my game on a DVD-R instead?

i have an exterternal floppy drive that i am using. It was working fine and now it says "disks needs formatting" Formatting will erase all the data I am trying to copy over. I tried to format one, and then it says the disc cant be formatted. All the disks are picture disks and say on them that they are already formatted. They are my personal pictures so there are no copyrights or anything. What's going on and how can i fix this so the discs can be read?

I wondered if anyone could suggest something to help me out here? I have had my mouse for about two years. It was grey and sat right next to me on my desk. I haven't seen it now for several days. I did let it out three nights ago shortly before a "skidding" sound on the main road, not sure if that's relevant. I went out to check and all I saw was a small door mat type thing that looked a bit like my mouse - about the same colour but flat.

I Started to install XP on my HD last night that i have been using as a slave drive, but it started to format the HD, it got to 1% and i pulled the power lead out.
When i put the HD back in the computer it says its now unformatted.
I've been using it as a storage drive and decided to use it as the main drive with an OS on.
I've scanned it with some demo recovery software and it shows all the files (300G of them) on there still.
What do i need to do to get this drive to a working state again without losing the files ?

I just bought a used computer with Windows 2000. When I start it the first thing that shows is that it detected new hardware called 'Media Audio Controller'. It asks me to find the drivers for this device, but I really dont know where to look for them, or if I have to download them. Also I did not get any installation cds with the computer so I cant reinstall anything (I think). In the device manager, the audio control has a yellow exclamation.Right now I dont have any sound in my computer I think due to this problem. Can anyone help?

I have a windows 2000 computer with one physical drive and two partitions C and D. I am planning to re-format and expand the C partition, since it 's running out of space.

I have created a ghost image of the disk. My question is, if I drop the backup image back on the disk, will it affect the new partition?. Or is it going to restore the original partion configuration (the one before the formatting)?

Thanks

My previous experience isn't technical. I worked at an A&W restaurant, and then at Wal-Mart. So this is my first actual tech job. I was certified this year, on June 3rd. That's not to say that I didn't have any past experience with computers in that degree, but I just needed it to be official, before I went job hunting. The place I am applying at is small, so I don't want to ask for to much or get paid to little. And this is what I was receiving as pay at the other places I mentioned:

A&W-$6.00, after a years work (no raise)
Wal-Mart-$6.65, Temporary employee
