I wondered if anyone could suggest something to help me out here? I have had my mouse for about two years. It was grey and sat right next to me on my desk. I haven't seen it now for several days. I did let it out three nights ago shortly before a "skidding" sound on the main road, not sure if that's relevant. I went out to check and all I saw was a small door mat type thing that looked a bit like my mouse - about the same colour but flat.

Try phoning it and listening for it ringing. That always works when I loose my mobile phone.

Oh dear, how can you control your pointer now that your mouse has gone? You should have kept it plugged into your pc then it couldn't have gone too far, just had a wander round your desk...... I agree with the other comment earlier, at least you've got a mouse mat now! Lol,,,,,,,,,,

I think you found it three nights ago.
Interestingly, I have a grey mouse that sits next to me at my computer but I have it tethered to the compute and this seems to stop it running away :o)

Naw...The mouse is okay. Just keep telling yourself, " My mouse went out to the country to live out it's life in peace and quiet " Then go get a new one....A White One....Easier to see!!!
