AGP and PCI-E are different standards of interfacing to the motherboard and therefore have different connectors. AGP is an aging standard and will soon be replaced completely with PCI Express. If you have an AGP graphics card, but not an AGP slot on your motherboard, you will not be able to use the graphics card.

You have to buy a pci-e card if you force a mother board to take a card that wasn't design for it not only could you damage the motherboard. But, you can also ruin the card! If, you not into gaming you can get a cheap pci-e card. If, not reviews to find the best deal.

nope agp and pci-e are totally different, agp will not work work in pci-e and vice versa.
since pci-e graphics card are the next generation of graphics along side SSL graphics.

They wont work together. An AGP card has to use an AGP slot.
A PCI-E card has to PCI-E slot.

no. agp card memory is different than pci express.
agp cards read and write at differnt times, and pci ex cards
will do this at the same time.
