hi, im on win xp, until recently my freecom +/-DVD RW4b would copy dvd to dvd and burn them with 'Nero'. Now for some strange reason it wont copy them. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled nero 7, no change. I then tried numerous other dvd copy softwares and still no luck. I can burn photos with nero, I havent yet tried to burn music. I darent try and uninstall the driver as I dont have the disk that came with it. Ive checked the dvd properties and it still states the device is working properly. I just want to burn some movies that I have stored on my hard drive. help!! in easy peasy pc language please.

I have also got a similar prob I use DVD shrink 3:2 and up until a few weeks ago I could rip a DVD go out for a beer come home and the finished film would be hanging out of my RW but for some reason I now rip then must start Nero manually its stopped doing its little automatic thing .so now I rip using DVD shrink and burn using clone DVD no probs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and its a nicer user interface than Nero well at least I think so

DVDs may be copy protected. You may be able to find shareware on the internet that will remove the copy protection.

use dvd shrink 3.2
