My keyboard is dirty! The dirtiest part is what's below the actual keys. How do you clean those? Do you have to take off the individual key off, or something else.

First of all, I bought a laptop about a month ago. It was my first time buying a laptop so I read a lot of PC magazines before the purchase.
But there was one thing I failed to pay attention which is the size. Before the purchase, I have been using 17" desktop and for some reason it didn't seem that big.
Hence, I felt buying a 17" laptop was not a bad idea. Moreover, I prefer big screen so my eyes get less tired.
But after having used the laptop about a month, I started to notice about 90% of laptop users have 14" laptop. Certainly not bigger than 15.4."
I also started to realize my 17" laptop isn't that portable and doesn't fit into my bookbags. I would have to put it in big bag.
I think I made a huge error in judgment regarding size as I might have to carry it around a lot as a college student.
What do u guys think of my situation? What do you suggest I should do?

I have a budget of somewhere around a thousand dollars and i need to get a convertible tablet pc. i need one that can read my handwriting, long battery life, lots of memory, and I need one that will last a really long time without breaking down. I do not want gateway and the lighter the better, but it does not really matter. I also don't care how big it is. Please answer. Thanks...

Look at getting a new laptop. (An XPS). The options are the onboard sounds, or an integrated SB Audigy. If I'm not going to be running external speakers (like, surround sound), just the ones that come in the notebook, is there any sense upgrading the onboard sound?

I've searched the Dell support site, but don't see any related articles to troubleshoot this problem. Is it my AC power cord or do I need to have the laptop connection fixed, or is it something I haven't thought of?

I get confused with the different processors; whether Pentium or Core or whatever and with what is important when considering which is the best system for what I need. How can I get easy to understand information on what I should bear in mind and not get caught up with jargon I don't understand? Thanks for your help.

I just bought a new laptop yesterday, it was the last one of this model the store had and off the shelf ex-display. The laptop had been plugged in while they did a settings restore and than I plugged it in when I went to use it 1st time, later when I went to another room and it said battery power was only 40%. I than plugged it in for about 4 hours last night before putting it to stand-by mode. When checked the battery level this morning it was again 40% even though it had been plugged in for about 30-40mins. I have now been charging it for close to 2 hours and its only 46% - is there something wrong with the battery cause I dont remember my other laptops being this slow to recharge, should I take it back to the store?
