hi looking for a laptop for a freshman, who likes gaming but not that mcuh, good processor, big hard drive, decent memory, the works but for a good price max 600-700

thats a tough price range for a laptop. I would say for processors, stay away from celeron, even if they are cheaper.

for hard drive, try for a 60 or 80, but not too big because then you will go over your budget

for video card, try for a 128MB card, try for anything but integrated. I.e. dont get integrated if you want to game

for RAM ,try 1GB, no lower then 512 MB/

Laptops for gaming are not the best way to go. I would focus on the MacBook at a slightly higher price. You will happy with that in lots of ways, but in particular with the reduction needed customer service and repairs.

DO NOT get a MacBook or any Mac. They're very expensive and are utterly useless for gaming or pretty much anything else.
