well, Hp and Dell would be the best choice for you.If you are always outgoing or lots of thing to do outside choose Dell, basically
Dell has the reputation of Durability yet Hp as well but not as impress as Dell. Hp Laptops are good looking and stylish as well as lots of feature which is depends on your budgets. If budgets are pretty low go with Dell.

For myself I use Sony :-p

Good luck

dell or hp would be the best two ....dell would be a bit cheaper and better one than hp.

but the price depends on u ..i mean how u gonna use ur laptop...what sort of work will u do .....if u wanna do design types of work u should not buy the celeron or athlon one...try to buy pentium III/IV.

if u r a gamer ur laptop not gonna last long....i would advise u for a desktop......will be very cheaper than laptop...

If I was a starving undergrad, I'd get a used Toughbook for about $250. You need reliability more than anything, and you can beat a freshman to death with that sucker without hurting it.
