I have Fujitsu Siemens Pi Amilo Laptop and accidently two of its keys (ESc and F1) broke this morning. I was wondering how much does it costs to replace or repair the keys in UK. (I am in Leeds currently)

My com keep hanging! I dunno the reasons.. it don't go on restart or memory dump.. the screen juz hang there! May i know what is my com's problem? Is it the video card? Or my Hardisk? It always hang when i play games.. and sometimes when i am juz doing nuting! Thanks

I have a Toshiba Satellite 2435-S255 Laptop which I bought like 4 years ago. It has given me some problems before but has been fixed, etc. But a few months ago, my CD-R/DVD ROM just stopped reading disks. The tray opens fine but when I insert a disk it acts like if there was nothing there. When I try to access the CD-ROM it says "Please insert a disc into thr Drive". I've tried cleaning the lens with a cotton ball, and I've tried disabling the hardware and enabling it again, but nothing work. I'd appreciatte any help.

I have a Sony HDR-HC1E (High Definition) camcorder and am looking to get a new laptop/desktop for video editing. I'm not fussed if it's a PC or a Mac but it obviously needs to be able to handle the demands and I don't want to break the bank too much.

I have an outdated Desktop Pentium-II now Iam thinking of purchasing a new one. But Iam thinking should I buy a Notebook(Laptop) Instead of a Desktop. while keeping the Older Desktop for printing and writing DVD purpose.

I have a Dell Inspiron 600 laptop.But the screen is black.I turn it on,and Windows XP load screen comes up,then the screen goes black.But the laptop is still on.Lights are still flashing on the keyboard and if i press too many buttons it starts to beep.But the screen remains black!The warrenty on my laptop is out-dated so Dell product service refuses to help me.Does anyone know whats going on?Any help would be great!Thanks!

I was thinking of buying this certain laptop and I wanted know what you thought of it (only if you have it) because there are basically mixed reviews and I need to know by Wednesday. If you have it can you tell me if it has a really wide screen and if it's good with PC games such as Roller Coaster Tycoon. Also, is it compatible with iTunes? I have an HP ze4900 notebook and the monitor is barely visible. I have tried everything, including downloading and installing new drivers, adjusting the video settings to death etc. The computer works fine with an external monitor but I am unable to read the screen attached without holding it right to my eyes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was looking at purchasing a decent used or refurbished laptop and I am not sure where to look or what to get. I had an older laptop that crashed a few months ago I don't think the price to try to fix it is worth it considering I purchased it in 1999 or 2000 and I don't even know what's wrong with it. I know the hard drive failed and possibly graphics card due to the lines in the monitor. All I"m looking for is 256-512 mb, 20-40 gb of ram, ethernet port. It doesn't need an OS loaded or any great graphic card, average CPU. Anyone have any suggestions???
