All computer brands are durable, depends how you use it,
don't leave it on over night. the new computers

if you looking for famous computer brand names, it would be hp, dell

most people assemble their own computers - which is also good,

if you want it to last longer, get a good computer fan to keep you cpu nice and cool, the new liquid cooling systems would be good

Assuming it's not ruggedized Laptops. Among the brands that is out there in the market like HP, Lenovo, Dell, Acer, Fujitsu, Apple, Toshiba, etc. I would like to state that the most durable laptop considering price performance is Dell Latitude series. The D420.

If by durable you mean long lasting and reliable, it all depends on the user. If you treat the computer with care and be weary of certain websites, and clean out all ad-ware and spyware, then potentially your computer will last a long time.

ruggedized laptops are the most durable type of computers. but they are expensive. try searching the web for it to compare prices.
