No no. If you want an incredible Laptop, and have the dough to buy it, you will want to look at an Alienware system, that was taken over by Dell this past year or so, so you know it's quality. They are like, the highest thing you can get without going and building your own.

I guess it would really depend on what the laptop was for (fun, business, etc). I have a Dell inspiron 5160, its about 2-3 years old and it works great. I play alot of games on it, great internet, and good quality. So i would recommend a Dell.

Don't listen to everyone here... Go and do some research about all the brands; http://forum.notebookreview.com/ would be a good place to start. Join their forum and just tell them what kind of specifications you're looking for and what you're going to do with your laptop (surfing, gaming, etc)

Go for a Dell. They are great computers and if by chance something does go wrong, their tech support is helpful. My CDRW drive randomly stopped reading discs and they sent me a new one in two days, no questions asked.

Dell. I bought a Dell XPS M1210 in August and I love it. I have had a Gateway and I hated it. It depends how much money you are willing to spend.
