I recently bought a new hard drive because i had a problem with my old one..Now every time i hit enter to send someone a message, it beeps. Why, and how can i stop it?

I cant really explain it. I am on AIM and every time i hit "enter" to send a message, the computer beeps--not the speakers

Sounds to me like there's a possible device conflict caused by the new drive. To disprove that, just borrow a friends and pop it in where yours is now and see if it does the same thing. If so, I'd need a lot more info about your machine and the new rom drive that you've purchased. I'll work with you one on one until the problem is solved if you'd like. Great Question. If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

computer beep has meaning depending on what kind of beep, please specify the beeping sound!
