I have two HDD on my pc. Primary and a Backup. I reinstalled my XP pro and I did not pay attention to what hdd it was going to be reinstalled on, I find out after that the new installation was done on my backup HDD. argh.

IS it possible to still get the data back? What software can I use that is available over the net ?

(I've tried using Stellar but it seems like it can only see the current contents of the HDD and not the previous contents.)

im having problems installing windows xp to asus p5ld2 deluxe motherboard.i need help.?
i got everything put together.i double checked it twice to make sure that it's hooked up right.i went to bios settings to set the date,time,and primary boot and i choose dvd drive so i can install windows os.then im installing windows.i waited 2 minutes.after 2 minutes is up i receive a error message on a blue screen.i did this 5 times and nothing.same error message.even without the hard drive.same message.i did everything i can to get it installed and nothing. is there anyway i can install windows xp to this new motherboard.bc if there is no way to install it.im returning this back to the computer store.thanks. i got a 1 gb memory,nvidia geforce 7300gs,wd 160GB primary hard drive,and the intel pentium 4 processor socket 775 with ht technology 3GHZ.

What I know is Sempron was compared to Intel's Celeron Processor but if I will compare it to AthlonXP with much higher memory capacity, will performance be the same or better than Athlon Processor? Note that only Windows XP Prof SP2 with MS Office application will be used on this PC.

ok, when there's sound on my pc (mostly music through itunes, but sometimes games), there is this annoying crackling sound, it usually comes when im trying to browse the internet or open some other application, i recently bought a new sound card, dusted out the computer with canned air, and designated some more of my 512mb of memory to itunes, what else can i do?

i have a copy of the beta ..vista and i have a problem although i have "vista ready"p.cs i would rather not use them
the only formatted p.c i have is a amd 500mhz cpu\256mb ram,is it possible to install the vista beta on that,and sacrifice the speed,ect
i only ask this as i managed to install xp on a pentium 1 (166mhz),64mbram,and it installed ok,but it was slow
