having a lot of stuff on your hard drive won't make it go slower. Usually there is something else wrong.

Go to your "control panel" and select "add or remove programs" from there you can remove stuff like "AT&T Internet" if your not using it or"AOL" or"MSN" etc.. Stuff like that can be removed, and anything else that you are not using. After you remove these programs, do a "defrag", go to My Computer and select your C: drive and right click on it. Select "Properties" and then the tools tab. There will be your "Defragment" button. Click that then click the "Defragment" button again. After you do this Go on the Internet and get: Ad-Aware from Lavasoft, AVG anti-virus from Grisoft, Spy-bot Search and Destroy from downloads.com, and Windows Defender from Microsoft. These are all free programs. Update them and run them OFTEN! This will speed up your computer and help protect you from the "Green Meenies"!

it depends on what u want to delete but be sure that u make sure that the thing u are going to delete is of no use in future and avoid deleting things from your operating systems folder and always keep a backup created before u try ur hands on deleting this will keep handy if smthng is by mistake

Something you don't need and that's not necessary to do your daily routine on your comp.
