I have a second hard drive (ATA) in my PC that I want to use in a new PC that I'm getting which uses SATA. I think the cables are different so I'm wondering if they make an adaptor.

Very academic Private School
So it would help with study
and play ofcaurce
you tube, myspace, msn things like that, that i no she likes
also she likes to play the sims 2

If two or more windows i open ,i will not able to switch on immidiatly to other ,i usually go to Task manager and end all .what may be the problem? often i download games to my system ,is it because of that ?i have installed anti virus McaFFe 8.5i, is it not so effective?
MY CD drive too is giving problem where it dose'nt open files,it showes nothing. after i have formatted my c: it was opening and my F: drive not detecting now. is that i have lost a drive?. now recently again my CD drive not opening?
what may be my system problem?

i m tryin to install new windowXP in my computer but for some reason its showing me error messages while installation .IRQL_not_less_or_equal. it asked me to disbale video caching and shadow from bios advanced setup ..so i tried that one too but it did't work either. i have 129 mb RAM, pentium 2 with 30 GB of hard drive. i tried already formatting with both NTFS and FAT 32 system but did't work either. could you please tell me why it's happenning and how can i fix this error.

I just downloaded windows update and now my hard drive is making an audible noise. It used to be a really quet now the noise is annoying as hell. Am i correct in assuming that it is the update that is responsible for this?

Before my pc (dell e520) restarted the hd was silent. But now i can hear it.

Is it possible to run two graphics cards at one time and use there power simultaneously? Im currently using an ATI Radeon 9550 AGP card and have an extra nVidia GeForce FX 5200 PCI card. Could I use them both together somehow?

Have been told to go into safe mode but I can't get past the floating message on the screen each time I turn on the computer. Can't input anything on keyboard and turning the computer on and off does nothing either. I got lucky once and by chance got in and indeed the screen was at about 600 but when I changed to recommended 1280x1024, the msg returned and since then, a week ago, I can't get back in??? HELP. thanks

Is a Dual Core CPU at 1.80 GHz better than a Single 1.86GHz or even a single at 2.0GHz ? Might be a dumb question but I'm confused on the whole Dual Core other than the obvious of it having two CPU's.

I just got a sweet deal on this computer ($800)

I can upgrade the RAM to 256mb.

If I upgraded the RAM, would it be able to handle xubuntu and beryl? A guy made a youtube video of himself running xubuntu with beryl on a Pentium III 450 Mhz with 126 MB RAM and a Geforce 2 MX. I know the processor and ram in the hp pavillion 6735 can handle it, but I'm unsure of the GPU

i know a ram chip with ddr2 is vastly faster than one with sdram. but does video card speed make a difference? Im currently saving up for a supercomputer for 3d modeling but in the meanwhile im trying to double the speed of my video card.
