Im hoping that the 200 dollars was for a complete system rather than the card. The card is not worth buying anymore.
The answer is no, this card is not capable of handling the high end graphics that most modern games require. It is rare to find a game that requires anything less than a 128 mb card anymore and very soon even that would be obsolete to most games. AGP (advanced graphics port) cards should be the minimum you should buy. Now there are PCI 2 cards on the market which is replacing AGP cards. A standard PCI graphics card just dont have enough juice to play the games. Maybe some games around 2000 or before may be suitable.

dude you can't play any games from 1998 to present. Theres only 32mb of gpu ram! You are lucky to play math blaster! To install slide the card into a free pci slot. Should go in easy if its made well. If not you have to shove it in. Get a geforce 6 series or better at least!

Are you sure the link you put is the correct one? You said you bought it for 200$ and yet the newegg one lists is as 35 dollars. Surely something is wrong here or you have been ripped off.

You paid $200 to a resale shop for for a card that only costs $35 new at newegg.com?? Did you mean $2.00 or $20?

That card was introduced in 2002, over 5 years ago per
http://reviews.cnet.com/graphics-cards/ati-radeon-7000/4505-8902_7-9388306.html

As it has only 32MB RAM, only supports DirectX 7, uses a PCI Buss, and is about 5 years old, it is not suitable for any recent games. This was a good card for a Win 98 computer. It is not a good card for Windows XP or Vista based computer.

Windows XP uses Direct X 9c and Vista uses DirectX 10. Typically a gaming card has 256 GB or more of RAM and uses a PCI Express X16 slot if available. The PCI Express X16 buss is over 60 times faster than the PCI buss.

Assuming the rest of your computer is up to it, a gaming card to play ALL of todays games should have a FRAPS (frames per second) of 50 or higher (my opinion) on the following page.

If you do not play games, 18 FRAPS (frames per second) or higher should be good enough .

For light to moderate gaming you should be OK with a FRAPS of 30 or higher.
