i m tryin to install new windowXP in my computer but for some reason its showing me error messages while installation .IRQL_not_less_or_equal. it asked me to disbale video caching and shadow from bios advanced setup ..so i tried that one too but it did't work either. i have 129 mb RAM, pentium 2 with 30 GB of hard drive. i tried already formatting with both NTFS and FAT 32 system but did't work either. could you please tell me why it's happenning and how can i fix this error.

i have experience with this problem although this has only happened after i tried to overclock my pentium 4 2.7ghz. through an educated guess it means one or more of you componants a is either overclocked wrong or do not meet the reccomended specs for xp here they are:System requirements for Windows XP operating systems

Add more RAM. Often the Setup program has problems installing on systems with very low amounts of RAM.

Its going to be horribly slow on 128 MB anyway - nearly unusable.

Are you tying to upgrade from Windows 98 or ME? If so this may help:

Your PC is too old to use XP. Stick with 98 or 2000.

Try formatting it or cleaning it up maybe it'll work Anyways good luck!!!
