hello i have an acer t180. These are its stats:-


AMD Athlon 64 4000 Dual Core Processor
Microsoft Windows Vista Premium
1GB DDR RAM
nVidia GeForce6100 Graphics
2 PCI Slots

My friend said something about it would be faster if i got a new graphics card cause this one is shared or something. i have a 256 Nvidia graphics card.

Is that one better then what i have? And can someone explain all this to me.

This one is 400 bucks and has a 3700+ with a San Diego (i can also get one with a 3800+ Venice). 1 gig of ram (i got DDR ram i own currently i can add) i would add a Geforce 7950 GT and a 600 watt PSU to this or the following.

This is dual core, heard dual core is just good at multitasking, not too much games. Also looked at some benches, but trully i just am unsure. This is 4200+, DDR2 ram (so i'd be stuck with a gig but its faster ram) and its an Asus board. You can see where i'm stuck. Its not like i'm completely worried about wasting my DDR ram, would be nice to reuse it and have 2 gigs. What d you think?

I need a backlight for my Toshiba A45-S150. Also, I removed the LCD from the unit and I need another WiFi antenna (one with a black and a white cable that attach directly to the card inside the laptop) since the factory one was built into the LCD. Anyone know where i can get these?

I no longer have any paper that is in the rollers and have deleted all but one item to copy which I cannot delete. I have a Compaq Presario 2200 laptop, bought about a year-and-a-half ago. I recently attempted to install an HP F380 scanner/printer/copier. Not only did it not work, but it screwed up my computer’s performance (everything loaded at a snail’s pace). Did I do something wrong or is my computer too old to be compatible with this kind of printer?

I've always been a Windows user and have never used any other OSs. I've used computers since I was 5 (now 18) and would be fairly good with them. I'm a student and use programs such as AutoCAD and Photoshop a fair bit for college, so I need a laptop that is preferrably lightweight, small and has a decent speed to keep up with me.
I'm hoping my parents will get my a Macbook for my 19th birthday (just over a week away), but I'm curious as to whether people think a Macbook would be suitable for me?
Also, can Windows XP be set up easily as a second OS? How is this done? Will it slow the computer down? Do I need to buy a special Windows CD to install XP on a Mac?
Anything else you know about Macbooks?

well do they have like a usb thing u could put on ur labtop so that u could pick up a wireless signal for the internet where ever u are therefore u wouldnt have to go to a nearby hotspot like starbucks just to get wireless acess

k well I was so stupid that I was trying to print out something and my printer was unplugged and so I click print like 10 times and now the printer is going to print it out 10 times what should I do I already restarted my computer AND unplugged my printer and it doesn't work!!!!!
