My friend made the fatal error of enjoying a cup of coffee while working on her laptop. Leaned over, bumped coffee, laptop is history.
If you are talking about system crash, that will happen all on its own someday -- the bad part is, we don't know when -- which is why we are advised to continually backup anything important to us. If you are lucky, you might get a warning - commands doing weird things. If not, someday, just like a
light bulb, you will turn it on, it will flash and go out.

That would depend on the situation. Software problem or hardware problem? If it software, then you can always fix it by reinstalling a fresh copy of windows. If its a hardware, then it is beyond repair.
