The fan would typically not have a reason to run unless the CPU was hot from performing various actions (or if it is just idling while in a hot room).
Outside of making sure no massive programs are running on it and/or moving it to a cooler and more ventilated spot...there isn't much you could do.

Well.. you don't need to do anything as such. I use my laptop continuously for over 12-14 hrs daily, on regular basis, and it does not damage it or anything... So, keep yourself kool, even if you are using it for 24 hrs non-stop, it wont give you a trouble.

The fan will run as long as the computer is running.

it is saying you should turn the computer off for a while it is getting to hot that's why the fan is constantly running

u should off ur laptop cause its a bit too hot that is y it keep running to cold down

take it out of the computer and clean it. also clean all the air vents. one of the biggest scams in computer repair is a dirty fan.
