Well, not help per say...well kinda. Ok, my mac is 60 gigs and its all dedicated to the OS. What I want to do is play games for windows on it. But I have no room. So, If I bought an external harddrive, plugged it in...could I put windows on in and run it? Or, does it have to be part of the mac computer? (I dont know anything about mac other then it has cool video and audio programs...I was a windows person) And if I unhooked it would it make it not work if I hooked it back up?

Random questions...but, I had problems with an external harddrive before. I put files on it from a windows os, then tried to put them on Mac...but I couldnt cause it was read only or something. So I had to switch the file format to make it work.

Thanks ahead of time. Hopefully this all makes sense and holds enough information. If not, I wil gladly add more.

I bought a Logitech webcam that supposedly was compatible with Vista - according to the Manager who sold it me.

I was sceptical, so, he built a computer and installed it with Vista in order to prove to me the webcam would work.

It did not work using the Logitech software that came with the webcam, so, he downloaded a new driver directly from Logitech, then tried it again and it worked.... IN THE SHOP !

Bought it back with me, installed it using the downloaded new driver as instructed and all I get is a completely black screen.

I know it's broadcasting, but on my laptop there's just a black screen with no image - same for the receivers' laptop.

Can someone suggest how I can rectify this problem please?

2 months before they bought out the new Vista system, I'd bought a new XP laptop with a load of accessories. weeks later, the laptop was damaged beyond repair..(it's amazing what a thru and thru hole can do.. !) so all XP accessories now null and void !!!!!

Hi, i broke my Compaq Laptop charger and cant find ANY place that sells them. Ive tried the magic tip hargers ive gone on the Compaq website and typed in the serial number and it said it had it but when i saw the picture of it, it wasent right. The pic of it was a round tip charger, but the one i broke was like a flat oval shaped one. i cant find this stupid charger any where. does anyone know where i might be able to by one????

You see, I'm in the process of reformatting my computer. One day, someone told me the Run command for reformatting the hard drive, but I forgot the process and even worse I lose the paper in which I wrote it down. That's why I'm asking you guys if ya'll can help me.

I have an HP desktop 3650. I just refilled the black ink cartridge and don't have a colored ink cartridge. I have the settings to print from just the black cartridge. When I print a page, the cartridge moves as though it is printing, but does not actually print anything on the page. I have gone through troubleshooting and read through my user's manual. How do I get my printer to print on the page?

I looked up my old computer case and it says its peak power is 350watts but its max for its power supply is 250watts. I don't get it, whats the cases peak power and how can it get higher then the PSU's max?

My disk drive won't open, or read the disk. I've been told that it may be dead and I'd have to buy a new one. But, the light on my laptop, that indicates it's working is flashing. Not sure what this means? Do I have to buy a new one. How do I tell if it is really dead?
