My computer screen isnt working...can someone tell me how I know if it really is dead? Becasue i dont want to go and buy another one, if it isnt....and if so....could you plz tell me what to do bout it?>

Basically the only way is to hook it up to a new computer, if it works then something is wrong with your video card so you would need to check it. If you hook it up to a different computer and it doesn't work then your monitor is dead.

if you push the power button and it does nto turn on then its dead.
Could be that your video card is dead if the monitor turns on but no video is displayed..

test it on another pc if you can is one way or try reinstalling video drivers.
