My parents just gought me a new HP computer, it is great but wont be able to keep up with the proccesing speed i need. I want to purchase a new apple laptop that is fully loaded, but i have no way to make money and to persuade my parents. Movie editing is a thing i do reguraly and its a real fun thing to do. My family often goes to our house in marble falls which is like a 4 hour drive from where we live, being able to watch movies and edit on my laptop would be a great thing. Please i need a way to make money, and to tell my parents i will be responsible for this investment.

Here are two laptops i am not sure which one to get.

the A has a dual core turion 64 56 (1.8ghz)

the B has a amd turion 64 single core (2.0ghz)

now the 2.0ghz is faster than 1.8ghz? but since the 1.8ghz is dual core cpu is that faster than the 2ghz?

I believe i got all of u confused loll sorry. i just wanna know briefly the differece in the two cores. thanx.

A couple months ago it started saying like f:/$$$kttyt drive could not be found every now and then.. Then it got more frequent and more frequent till it just stopped workign all together. It still powers up, and I can hear the disks spinning, and it will connect to the computer but I cannot save anything or access anything or even seen my files or folders... What should I do?

but so that i can print it to my pdf (virtual) printer instead of the regular printer?

I have a new home built computer that I want to do a clean installation of Vista Premium. the moterboard has simple graphics and I do have a new Geforce graphic card. Do I need to install the graphic card before installing Vista and if so how do I do this without an existing operating system on the computer?

I have problem installing a webcam on my mums pc?
My mum and I bought two of the same webcams as I am moving away soon so we can keep in touch.

My webcam has installed perfectly and is working but hers says that the webcam is asking for too much bandwith. Is this a hardware problem or her ISP which is different from mine. The machine she has is slightly slower than mine but more than enough to run a webcam on and generally connection speeds of 1-4 meg.

It said usb controller bandwith exceeded. The pc has only 2 usb slots but have tried plugging the cam into the pc directly as well as the hub and no difference help!

Serious answers only please as we need to get this resolved before I move! Thanks!

I just purchased a ati tv tuner 550 card but the channels will not show up, i think because i dont have the ir blaster cable(a cable that connect to the sensor on a directv box or cable so u can change the channels) can u use a tv tuner card without having that sensor cable tried to use media center and it keeps saying ir transmitter not found
