tried all the things listed below(using the correct link, using the green arrow, turning off puter, etc...it still says applications running or open documents, please close these and try againg....I can't find any running programs and/or documents... ALSO, this is not happening on any of the other 3 pcs i use..must be something on the hame computer....how do i find it? it chekced anti-virus and found nothing running either

There should be an icon at the bottom left of your screen with a green arrow. Click on it, click on safely remove USB mass storage device, and after it says safe to remove, pull it out.

just unplug it from the usb port. restart the computer and try doing it again.
