I have

C: Drive
F: Drive ("Recovery" it says)
D: Drive (External 250 Gig Hardrive I bought for Media)

How do I backup all my pictures and media to be safe?

Thanks,

I would do 2 things :

- Copy to (or keep them) on the D: drive (never on the C: drive).... they are safer on a non system drive.

- ALSO copy then to CD or DVD for safe keeping. Blank media is a cheap as 20 cents per DVD. There is NO EXCUSE for not backing up any important data, documemts, photos or other files to CD or DVD for safety.

When dealing with such files I often make 2 or 3 copies of the backup CD & keep them in separate places for extra security.
Re-writable CDs or DVDs are usefull if the data is often modified. You can erase them & recopy (or add) the newer files.

Follow these rules & you will never end up mourning lost & irreplacable personal files.

If you want to save your time and schedule your backup I recommend you to use Acronis True Image. It can perform an incremental and differential backup tasks (learn about it here: http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/resource/solutions/backup/2005/incremental-backups.html).
True Image has a scheduler to make backups as often as you want. True Image is very easy in use program and has many useful features that will help you to save your time and data.

You need do a off-site backup to be protected against threats as fire, etc.
