Ok well , I have an Acer laptop , & it has been going good for a long time , but latly for the last couple of weeks it has randomly been turning off on me , while I was in the middle of something , how can I fix this problem ?

It sounds like its overheating, don't use it on your lap or on any surface with fabrics. Use your laptop on hard flat surfaces only so that heat can travel out of the laptop.

Do you use it while its plugged into a power source? If not maybe your batteries are dying.

Most likely, your battery is getting old. They do not hold as much of a charge after many recharges. Check your Power Options in Control Panel every 10 minutes for battery life. If it starts out low or goes down fast, you may need to see a dealer to recycle the old battery and buy a new one.

do u have uptodate virus scanner ...anitspy ware program..run these if it restarts before ending ..go in safe mode then run them...press F8 on load up to access safe mode...try also start .run ...(type) cmd then enter ....on black screen type chkdsk (enter) if there is errors try chkdsk /f ...click y for yes then restart computer ....will load in blue screen..let me know how u get on...
