I'm looking to buy a new computer soon and I'm thinking about buying a MAC, but before I do I want to find out what are the pros and cons of the MAC computers compared to the regular PC's. I appreciate any help you can give me.

A Mac has its own operateing system, unlike most PC'S. Some like it and some dont. The huge majority are not Mac. Another con is if you need parts you have to buy Mac parts. With all others you can buy generic parts which cost less. My preferenc is the regular PC.

No, i'd say that is greater straightforward and greater logical to apply, yet although, i'm used to it. while you're used to a pc, issues will experience somewhat unusual on the commencing up. Macs are designed for use and explored; I constantly get the sensation somebody at Apple sat down thinking, "what if the person does THIS... what ought to ensue then?" (dragging an icon onto something, or urgent a key mutually as clicking a button, working example). you're able to do each and all of the common issues on a Mac; notice processors, mail, information superhighway surfing, chat, burn CD/DVD:s etc, even though it is not a large video games device. (those days, you truly can run domicile windows, alongside with pc video games at finished speed, although that is form of complicated.) even though it truly shines while it contains integrating your digital domicile video clips, pictures, songs etc. iTunes, iMovie, iPhoto and iDVD is a huge application equipment that is coated from the commencing up. i all started making domicile DVD:s 5 years in the past on my Mac and that is in ordinary terms gotten greater advantageous. try to be sure you have lots of RAM, get a typical USB mouse in case you desire scroll wheels and a pair of buttons, acquire MSN in case you employ it, and purchase despite employer applications you like (like MS place of work). different than that, you truly do have each thing you like. precise out of the field!

well first go to this:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/11/25/AR2006112500045.html
but a mac is not like a pc, but comparable to windows xp or vista. a mac is more for people who dont want to worry about viruses, and it runs smoothly. it does have less games and programs which can be run on it, and it is more expensive. if price is not the problem, windows can be used on a mac using a program for 100$ that can be bought on the apple website, but the great thing about mac is the os. macs are more for video editing, and they have programs for everything.
a pc can vary. depending which one you buy it can be good for different things, but pc's can be highly upgradable, and very fast as well. one you have answered the question about a mac or pc ask the question about which one is right for you.

The Operating System is the only difference.
On Windows, you will be able to play most games out there.
On a MAC, you will be able to do everything you can do on Windows, but wont be able to play many games.

Also, MAC people seem to be more pleased with their products than PC users.
