I'm trying to burn a dvd I made with roxio, but its telling me that one or more of my DMA recording devices are turned off. How do I turn them on, or where do I go to find info on how? Anything would be appreciated, thanks.

Currently have a OKI-Data printer and wonder if there is an upgrade. Something that is faster that will print on a 4 part form.

You think they would have something a little more advanced than a dot-matrix printer

Obviously I can't get a job. I'm saving up money for a macBook. 2,079 after I add a bigger hard drive and stuff (I'm gettin the white one but I'm making it the best it can be 200 gb etc. Etc.) My moms giving me 500 dollars but I still need to make the rest. Anybody who has macBooks how are they? Cool? I'm usted to pc's I've never had a mac. But MacBooks r so cool I'm willing to change. And they're really small but not too small (like the sony vaio sz) All help I would REALLY apreciate it thank you soooo MUCH.

I am using Component cables, the red, blue and green one, and it won't work. I hook it all up, and when I switch it to my tv, I see my desktop background, but theres 2 of them, squished together with a black bar thats all messed up in the middle sperating them. Then, the color is super messed up, like, only green, red, and blue, but it looks like water painting pixalated or something...if that makes sense. I know its not the TV, or the Cord...and im fairly sure its not the card itself cause everything else works fine with it. So, how do I configure it or can I?

I'm trying to save $$ to get my dad a dell laptop for Christmas or his next birthday. One of the features he wants is wireless internet so he can go anywhere and have the internet. I went to dell.com to customize the laptop and I came across 3 things: "Wireless Router" "Mobile Broadband" and "Bluetooth Options" Do I need all three of these in order to have wireless internet on this laptop? Also, theres' a section on "Docking and Monitor Solution". What's docking for and I thought I already picked out a monitor, why are they asking me again?

The specification mentions that the motherboard can only support Intel Pentium 4, Celeron D, Pentium D, and Core 2 Duo. Does it mean it will not support any CPUs from the Core 2 Extreme series? Because I thought the Core 2 Extreme's CPUs are also socket 775 while the motherboard I am looking at is also under the socket 775 category.

When I called eMachines, they couln't solve the problem, and my 1 year warranty is expired. It was working fine and I turned it on and it tried to start up but then I get a message that a file isn't found. I do not have the computer assembeled, so I don't know the error message. But the restore disc doesn't even run on it. I can't get it to run, either could tech support. I need the photo's that are in the hard drive. I just hate to spend so much to have it looked at in case it can't be repaired. Do you guys think that this problem is repairable?

I unplugged my computer, and now the internet won't work. I use a D-Link wireless router to transfer the signal from my main computer to downstairs. The main computer works fine. On the computer that won't work the internet says connected, signal is excellent, but it says Limited or no connectivity. And I can't get an internet page to open. I called my IP and they can't figure it out.

Any ideas?

My printer used to work. Now, everytime I click the print button, the options and settings page come up and I click to continue printing like normal but it automatically opens that box where you save a document or something. I dont know what else to do. The company charges $35 to get help from them!! Thats crazy. Does anyone know about this problem and how to fix it? Thanks!

The system hung and refused to shutdown or restart. So I removed the battery and replaced it. On pushing the power button, all the lights come on but nothing happened. And no, it is not a monitor problem or a hardisk or processor (it has a intel M) problem. All 3 are working perfectly.

If I put in a disc, it doesn't work. The little light just flashes for about 1 minute, and then it goes off and nothing happens. It's probably broken, but the funny thing is about 2 months ago my first one packed up, so I had to buy this CD/DVD Rewriter. Now this ones wasted too. I want to know if there is anyway that I can check on the PC if it's broken? This might sound weird, but is there a way that I might of switched it off??? Please help me?? Thanks!
