I'm trying to save $$ to get my dad a dell laptop for Christmas or his next birthday. One of the features he wants is wireless internet so he can go anywhere and have the internet. I went to dell.com to customize the laptop and I came across 3 things: "Wireless Router" "Mobile Broadband" and "Bluetooth Options" Do I need all three of these in order to have wireless internet on this laptop? Also, theres' a section on "Docking and Monitor Solution". What's docking for and I thought I already picked out a monitor, why are they asking me again?

Dont listen to the other guy who told you not to buy a dell
they are good. I have a dell laptop thats 5 years old and its working perfect and never broke or anything.
Anyway a mobile broadband should be enough for your dad.
A docking solution is something to keep the laptop on when your at a table or something. So that it'll be level with your eyes and you wouldnt have to bend to get a proper look. I use a book. LOL

I think the monitor thing is for external monitors. so unless you want one dont bother, its a watse of money

Just about all modern day laptops come with wireless cards built-in. If you already have a wireless router at dad's house, then you are set from the beginning. If not, and you have a high speed line (DSL, cable, etc) then buy a wireless router with the laptop and you are good to go.

the docking station is a port replicator. you get ps2 connections, parallel port and usb, vga, network connections with it. do you need it.... most likely not.
