This is recognised and says it is working properly,but I need to open it. (ext device)

this is what you do, after the device is in go to the

1. Start icon on the bottom far left corner.
2. Click on Run. It should have an hourglass looking object on it.
3. A little box should appear. Click on Browse.
4. In the bottom it should say File Name and File of Type. Click
on File of Type, and select All Files. Then your device should
pop up.

click my computer this lists all installed hard ware. it will be there right click on the icon and then you will have the option to open

Install driver for it.
