ok, so my boyfriend rebooted my computer, laptop and now theres so mny things missing he tried to put his phone cord into my laptop so i can get on the internet and it doesnt work now, does anyone know whats missing? and how i can get it to work its a brand new laptop, and it was running kind of slow so i rebooted it.

I have a usb flash drive storage device and i need to save some things on it. but now it says it is write protected. is there some way to change it to where it is not write protected?

alright so, my shift key has turned in to a cntrl key, my shift key has gone a miss, windows key doesn't work at all. they all got switched around, and i have no idea how to switch them back. and i really need my shift key. lol, anyone know how i can get it to go back to the proper format...i can't even put a question mark...-.-

im going to buy a Intel E6300 conroe CPU and either a GIGABYTE GA-965G-DS3 LGA 775 Intel G965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard or a GIGABYTE GA-965P-DQ6 LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard (i dont know which one) then i need a CPU cooler (dont know which one; around $50) and a new graphics card (price is around $200). thanks!

i have a sony vaio PCG-K23..i have windows xp home edition on it with service pack 1 i believe..i was wondering if im going to have any problems booting up my hard drive..i have a disk for windows xp home edition sp2 but im going to use the product key from my laptop is that possible? oh and if i do boot the hard drive will i need to install drivers? oh and where can i get the programs specifically made for the vaios? such as the intervideo player, the memory stick utility, etc. you know like all the programs the laptop came with when you first get it..well thanks

We will be upgrading to Windows Vista soon. I like to play the Sims. My husband thinks we need the one with the TV tuner built in. We are prepared to buy a 500 watt power supply to support it. We need PCI express. We have 2.66 ghz dual core pentium D, 1 gig of ram.
Right now we have ATI radeon 200 integrated. Hubby thinks he wants the All-In-Wonder, what do you think?
I want the best deal but I really want to buy it at Circuit City or Staples because I have a gift card for those. Willing to go elsewhere though.

I have a Hitachi laptop HDD that has failed. I need to send it in for an exchange. Their support website says that I need to package it a certain sort of packaging (electrostatic discharge bag and foam / padding all around the HDD) or Hitachi packaging.

The problem is that I have discarded the original package.

Any idea where I can get such a package from?

My screen resolution is currently set at 1024X768. On my computer everything is too big. I try to go to 1280X1024, which works fine. The problem is that the Taskbar is cut off. How to I prevent this from happening?

iv took the hard drive out in tried to put the other one back in .and it says RPL-ROM-FFC: with the number 5 flashing it goes up to 1 2 3 4 and then 5 is flashing like it seems like its waiting for you to press something before it gets to 5 please can anyone help please urgent
