plz i need to know if i can fix the tray like in the next 20 min plz help, and no i cant buy a new one my dad will kill me so plz how do u fix the tray. I put it back but now it wont close i need to fix that

Your dad may have hidden skills.
Explain to him that you broke it - it was by accident.
He may be able to get the CD ROM drive out of the computer, dismantle it, and glue the tray back together. I recommend super-glue for this if you don't know the type of plastic. You don't know until you ask him. Stop worrying and do it!
You can not just glue it in situe and it must be done accurately, then cleaned of any excess before re-assembling.
DON'T TRY GLUING IT YOURSELF without adult help!
If you both agree it needs a new disk suggest you get a DVD recordable and offer to pay some of the cost of 50Euros.

prob not...your best bet would be to just buy a new cd-rom drive. The tray can't be replaced seperatley. Good luck.

HALPZ! in simple terms set up a tremendous little firewall like comodo firewall or zone alarm, in case you computer screen/block all incoming/outgoing site visitors so if he "did" infact get into your gadget you could in simple terms click a touch button that announces DENY!

I don't think you can fix it by yourself. I would just leave it alone and if your dad asks what happened say you don't know. It's not your fault if your dad broke the computer!
