alright so, my shift key has turned in to a cntrl key, my shift key has gone a miss, windows key doesn't work at all. they all got switched around, and i have no idea how to switch them back. and i really need my shift key. lol, anyone know how i can get it to go back to the proper format...i can't even put a question mark...-.-

Try to pull off the keyboard connector its at the back of ur pc if this is pc keyboard then plug it again then try to restart the pc. All pc or laptop should have attaced keyboard connected in the system this is the most required hardware components.
If it still not working correctly and problems are still their you can replace now a new one and good one keyboard. Don't worry it won't cost you a dollar...

Try to uninstall keyboard in control panel. If you need step by step email me.
