My screen resolution is currently set at 1024X768. On my computer everything is too big. I try to go to 1280X1024, which works fine. The problem is that the Taskbar is cut off. How to I prevent this from happening?

There is a possibility that this is a monitor issue and not an issue with vista or screen resolution itself. If you're using an LCD monitor, I would try the "auto adjust" setting. This setting will make sure everything is in view and nothing is cut off. It also does color's, brightness, contrast, etc. Try adjusting the hardware settings on whatever monitor you have using the buttons on it. That should do the trick. If this still does not work, it's likely that it is a vista driver issue (of which there are MANY).
