For less than a week now, for some reason every time I turn pc on there is something in my recycle bin. It always says TMP file 0KB. Which I presume to be a temporary file with nowt in it. I always empty bin but next day it is back, one day there were two files like this. I have no clue as to what the file might be as there are only initials with it that don't mean anything to me. Somedays diferent initials.

I am trying to install a memory card reader to my computer. The website tells me that it needs to be plugged into a port rather than a Hub- hey - I have no idea what the difference is or what to do. It is a Sakar digital reader/writer- just supposed to be able to plug it in and it does the trick- having no luck here. Anyone got any ideas?????

i have just recieved my logitech G5 mouse and i seem to be having some trouble with it.

the problem is that when i restart my pc with the mouse connected windows fails to start. i think it may have something todo with the fact that i used to have a wireless mouse and keyboard but i am still using the wireless keyboard with the G5 mouse.

i dont thinks it software because the problem occured bout before and after the software instilation

any ideas what the problem may be???

I've installed the software that came with the camera including the drivers for the TWAIN connection. The computer reports that the software is installed and that the device is ready for use.

But it does not appear as an icon in the My Computer window.

If I use a different USB socket, I go through all of the same prompts and get the message that it is installed correctly but the computer refuses to recognise the camera.

Is this something that Tiny XP cannot do?

It's able to recognise other mass storage devices such as pen drives / memory sticks.

I love building custom PCs, and I almost know what I want until it comes to choosing the right motherboard.

Because the motherboards' architecture of electronic components is the most complex, it's very hard to determine which one is the most stable, especially when most reviews are performance (probably speed) oriented, and not long-term quality oriented.

So tell me about your personal experience or expertise in choosing a motherboard, which brand is your favorite (and why)?

Finally my main question is should we trust a brand name and stick to it as long as it's good, or read performance biased-reviews to make a buying decision?

Personal experience:
After a bad personal experience with an Asus motherboard, I started to be meticulous in choosing other manufacturers with *longer* history and experience. Yet when I search online for best custom gaming PCs I see that Asus is much favored.

In so many ways I tried to get a correct answer for the harddisk noises,but so far not fulfill.I read an article issued by www.memorystock.com(frequently asked Q&A )stated:if you hear your harddrive working,there is a reason probably insufficient memory.Even I tried with 3 new harddisks the noises persists the same.My system haveDDR 256 MB(400MHZ)RAM.The system is functioning with usual performance and I no find any problem except the harddisk noises.Please assist me what I do?
