The G5 could have contain a utility cd. placed that for the duration of and run it, see if it could diagnose what's happening. It sounds like it incredibly is a putting in the mouse that should be adjusted (which you're able to do with the utility put in) even yet it could additionally be that the mouse is improper. in case you are able to't get it working then i could advise which you bypass to the Logitech internet site and digital mail shopper help for some help. I had to try this some months in the past because of the fact my G7 began appearing loopy and that they have got been spectacular to handle. they did no longer make me leap by using a million hoops, they only had me digital mail them a replica of the receipt, then they in one day couriered me a clean one. miraculous shopper help i could say. The mouse became 2.5 years old and that i had no theory till they instructed me so as that it became below a three year guarantee, they could have stored that tips to themselves yet did no longer. So my element is that whether it incredibly is no longer a putting subject then merely touch them and that they might actually assist you elect the subject or at the instant replace the mouse for you. desire this helps.

How does the receiver for the old keyboard and mouse connect? If it's through the PS2 ports, unplug the mouse PS2. If it's through a single USB you may have a conflict with the "phantom" mouse. Try to disable it via the control panel and then connect the new mouse.
