I've installed the software that came with the camera including the drivers for the TWAIN connection. The computer reports that the software is installed and that the device is ready for use.
But it does not appear as an icon in the My Computer window.
If I use a different USB socket, I go through all of the same prompts and get the message that it is installed correctly but the computer refuses to recognise the camera.
Is this something that Tiny XP cannot do?
It's able to recognise other mass storage devices such as pen drives / memory sticks.
Many thanks

Okay, I've been into the Device Manager and checked the Properties for the camera. "All drivers are installed and the device is working correctly" according to the Device Manager. Still not showing up when it is plugged in and switched on. MS website mentioned a WIA driver and this appears to be missing. Except Canon website search returns zero results for WIA. Still searching for an answer. Thanks.

I've been working in IT since 1984. Nothing surprises me any more. Thought I had it sorted yesterday but no such luck. I've found out that ptpusd.dll was missing but if there are more files beyond that, I do not know what they are.
