i am a mechanical engineer so i would be using many cad softwares i will be also playing many games so please suggest which processor of the above is bettter and note that i am putting 1 gb ram

i tried ti install nero V.5 in my system, but whenever i install, the option for writing through CD-RW drive is not enabled inside the NERO.. i can use only the Image writer...
what will be a problem and how can i overcome from this? can anyone help me?

I can't get my Gateway laptop to boot normally because I keep getting this message. I can get it to boot in safe mode, but I dont know how to fix the problem. I'm using Windows XP and it came preloaded on the computer when I bought it, and I don't have a boot disc or recovery disc...what should I do??

If you're a computer geek (like I), you should know what am i talking about. Otherwise, a jumper is that tiny black ring you should see on your computer's hard drive. w/o it the desktop can't know what is the main drive and what is the secondary drive.

back to the question. Where can I go (online or at a store) to buy hard drive jumpers? other than Fry's electronics

OK, I have two monitors, one is a Flat screen CRT and the other is a standard CRT but it has a higher refresh rate (up to 85) the one I'm using now...the flat screen CRT only goes up to 60, which one would provide me with better graphics in games, photo editing, movies, etc...? the reason I'm asking is I got a sweet new graphics card ;)

I don't know which one to get, or that I need to get based on what I use them for, and they're at Sams Club, so no one there knows anything about them. I am on the internet A LOT, so I need speed.
