that would work but you really do not need the tripple interface at all...here is the same thing http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2204138&CatId=136 but without triple interface. here is the deal: plug it into the computer with all of the music....put all the music onto the external hard drive and take it wit you to your next gig...plug it into your laptop and you have all your music at your fingertips....just saved you $100!

OR if you want some SERIOUS portable storage, here is another: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2151091&CatId=136

good luck.

Doc above is right, you don't need triple interface. Just make sure that you have the right interface. A harddrive with USB probably works just as well. Triple interface refers to the way the hard-drive communicates with your computer. Most PCs have USB ports (nowadays USB 2.0) which you connect your harddrive to with a USB cable. The Apple interface, similar to USB is called firewire. You might want triple interface, if for example, one of your machines is a PC that only has USB and the other is a Mac that has firewire (most Macs have USB also, but the firewire interfaces is way faster). Otherwise, listen to the doc and save some $.

This harddrive would be more than reasonable for what you are trying to do. You can easily have a folder on your portable hard drive that has all of your music files on it and just drag that hard drive around with you to your gigs.

How about a 500GB wireless network storage device for $379.95?
