well i have a serious problem" i have nothing on my desktop" what should i do i dont have the cds to reinstall every thing but i tried to reboot my computer i had the icons and everything as long as i dont restart our shut down my computer if their is no solution can you juste tell me how could i go to control panel using the ctrl alt delete??? thank you very much

hey i juste wanted to add that i can do nothing on the desktop, no right click not even open the window logo... thanks

Try right clicking on the desktop and selecting one of the options under "arrange icons by".
Or right click on the desktop and go to properties. Select Desktop tab, and then the "customize desktop" button. Under the General tab, check the icons you want on your desktop. Under the Web tab, check the box to lock the desktop items so they cant be moved around.

Make sure that you check 'Show Desktop Icons'

right click the desktop...click "Arange icons by"....make sure there is a check mark next to "show desktop icons"
safe mode will not help at all...geez.

on desktop right click and then go preperties then click destop and the coztomize Desktop and choesse
