or if u can help me with my dell, i have an inspiron 6000 laptop, and when i'm trying to watch movies, the sound isn't coming thru. i hear the background music well enough but when the actors r speaking, i can't hear a thing. plz help or give me dell's customer service number.

I have a hp printer and I had my ink cartridge refilled in the shop. When the original cartridge was running out of ink, a message came up on my screen warning me about it. This did not happen with the refilled one. The printer has just stopped printing properly. Someone said that its out of ink. Is it or could it be another fault? Do the refilled cartridges overide something in the system that would warn you to replace it? I'd appreciate anyone's help with this.

my hp laptop is not starting up.....its giving me this screen that says safe mode and a whole bunch of other stuff....i tried to click safe mode and start up regular it then sends me to this blue screen afterwards that has alot of words on it then it shuts off......can any one please HELP.......thank you

On my IBM Thinkpad R-51 laptop, the "r" key won't work unless I press down hard on it... I've tried cleaning the keyboard off, but that didn't help matters any. Any ideas on what's wrong, and if so, how do I fix it?

Laptop is crashing regularly.
Last report suggested that a device driver was the cause.
Previous report suggested that the problem was with RAM.
Asked PC world for disc to download diagnostic tool.
They said that such discs are not for sale.
Tried restore systems at 3 different highlighted dates.
Didn't work.
Anyone know what might work?
If crash happens while writing email, mail is lost.
Is there any way to automatically save such mails to draft when a crash occurs?

I used to play DVD's in my PC, and also burn cds. I stoped being able to burn CDs some months ago, and Im still using the same brand as always, and tried to used alternate ones too. Also, the DVD's don't even show up anywhere. I started having the DVD problem about year and a half ago when I got it back from Best Buy cause they fixed something, and my 2 year guarantee is over now. I don't now what happen to it, and help or tips?

One more thing, I also tried to install a PC game, but it sayed to lower the resoltuion, is there any relation between this and my other two problems?

E-machines says they dont have a clue! Nero says its a microsoft problem and microsoft says its E machines Problem...Is it agreed that now its my problem.

I know that company's like ATI and Invidia manufacture the main components in a video card, but companies like Sapphire and Asus provide the rest. So I was just wondering what you thought about Sapphire in term's of quality and such.

I have re-installed the printer and cleaned the heads but it will only print items in the CYAN color. Leaves blank spaces where any color other than cyan is at on orginal.

If you think you know it pretty well… then good, you can help me out here. Can you please tell me what this wavy dash symbol is called (~)? On a standard American keyboard, it is directly to the left of the number 1 and under the “Esc” key.

I know that this => (&) is called the ampersand, this => (-) is called a hyphen or dash, and this => (*) is called an asterisk, but I realized I have no idea what that wavy symbol is called – and I cannot find it online. Ha Ha! So if you could tell me that would be great. Thanks.
