I want to buy a laptop for a Christmas present. WIll they be cheaper in December or will the prices go up? Im thinking of either a Dell or HP. Thanks

You might find the January sales would be a better time for buying laptops. Maybe a gift voucher for a store that would sell them would be better?

I would think that the prices would go up a bit, so they make more money. But, then again, a lot of times there are big sales in December. I guess the best thing to do would be to wait until December for a good deal.

I bought a new HP the day after Thanksgiving. Had really good sales on them. I "think" the prices will go up towards Christmas?
I`ve always had good luck at Circuit City.

They Will Be The Cheapest They're Gonna Get This Year The Day After Thankgiving.....Your Just Gonna Have To Get Up Early And Wait In Line For Hours.........

It will probably be cheaper in December, but you might want to be in a bit earlier, in Novemeber, since the Thankgivings Day sales are a much better deal. Go to Fry's or places like that, even though it's crazy crowded, it's much cheaper.

There should also be some good sales on the day after Thanksgiving. Take a look at http://www.blackfridayads.com/ to see the ads that stores are going to run on that day.

considering the price rise for christmas and the usual comperttion between retailers i cant see a change in price happening at all.
