I use itunes to play music at partis. I would like to leave the visualisr running on the Monitor, and hopefully let it run on a few televisions around the house. I don't know the cheapest way to do this. Nor do I know what kind of adaptor card I would need for my PC.

I am thinking of building a new computer. Can anyone explain the differences, pros and cons of dual core vs. dual processor?

Right now I am leaning to a Tyan S2875ANRF Dual Socket 940 main board with 2 gig of ram and twin 2.2 GHz AMD Opteron 248 SledgeHammer processors.

whats the difference going with this configuration vs say a 3.7 GHz Dual core?

I got a new caddy for my old hard drive but dont know wat to do next!
I have XP so it installed automatically (plug-and play I think they call it?) but it does not show up in My Computer. I hear the sound when the USB is connected but no icon in My Computer. Is there a way that i can find it on my computer manually and get it to work?
Also when it does work is it supposed to transfer data from my old hard drive to my comptuer because thats what i got it for!
Thanks.

I'm after the little clippy things that lock down the ink cartridges.

I'm trying to turn a Dell inkjet printer back into a Lexmark, which it is deep down, so that I don't get ripped off by Dell any more for ink. The only thing that is different, as far as I can tell, is the little clippy thing.

Internet, more processes at once, faster loading, faster downloads (if possible), ect. I have already made sure my computer is completely clean of all unneeded files, temp files, ect.

I am thinking of maybe getting a new harddrive or RAM card. My current Harddrive holds around 70 gigs and my RAM is 128 I believe. So, should I get a bigger harddrive, RAM card, even graphics card, ect.? I really don't know what is best, because I am new to figuring out all this computer tech. Thanks!

I go to a school away from home, and have been taking my home-built desktop computer to school for the last year. The spec is quite good (3ghz, 300gb, 1gbRam). But i have now been given a laptop, which has reasonable spec (Centrino-duo, 1.6ghz, 80gb, 1gb). I do alot of sound processing and some CAD/CAM work, so it is quite processor heavy.
The question is do i take the laptop, desktop or both?

im a new mac user and i find its not so easy to use the mac's mouse, not like pc's. specially when ur dragging sumthing. ur mouse pad should be very wide because not like in pc u can lift the mouse up from the pad and still not losing the hold in the image you are dragging because your clicking on the left button. but in mac's, you can only drag the image while pressing the whole mouse onto the pad and dragging. but once you lift the mouse, it means its the end of dragging even if it is still not your intended stop, you just stop because there is something that blocks your hand or the end of the mouse pad area. thanks

I sent my laptop for repairs a couple months ago and when I got it back I had lines (down up) on the sreen, maybe 3 to 6 depending. It doesn't really bother me but it's annoying when watching movies.
Would my warranty cover it? Is it really worth the hassle of repair services? (It's still covered) You know how those services sometime take their times... and I use this for work too... err//

My laptop behaves strangely..it works only when it is kept vertically after booting.it has never fell down, if to check for any loose contact. if kept in normal position, it will end up in windows 'Stop Error' blue screen (Win XP SP2).
