Which is the best configuration for laptops for gaming?

There was an artical I read in a magazine about assembling a laptop. It can be done, and the next time I need an upgrade, that is what I'm going to do.

Apparently when building a laptop, you really don't have a lot of flexability like a desktop, but anything is better than nothing.

I personally would go with the following for a gaming laptop.
nVidia graphics card with at least 128 MB
At least 1 GB of RAM
17" wide screen monitor is nice, but at least a 15.4"
AMD processor. dual core if you can get one for a laptop.
